About Shaya Prager

Shaya Prager is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist whose career has been guided by the belief that success carries with it a responsibility to strengthen communities and invest in future generations.

For more than two decades, Shaya has dedicated his time, leadership, and philanthropic resources to organizations focused on education, healthcare, community development, and supporting families in need. His charitable work reflects a long-term commitment to building institutions that create meaningful and lasting impact.

Among his most significant philanthropic contributions, Shaya helped fund the construction of the Chai Lifeline headquarters in Lakewood, New Jersey. The 50,000-square-foot campus serves as a true "home away from home" for children and families facing serious illness. Designed to provide comfort, healing, and accessibility, the facility includes an art studio, music studio, gymnasium, swimming pool, Beis Medrash, therapy rooms, and adaptive indoor and outdoor play areas.

Shaya also dedicated a wing at the Special Children's Center in Lakewood, New Jersey, a nonprofit organization that enriches the lives of children with special needs by providing comprehensive care, innovative programs, and ongoing support to thousands of children and families each year.

A passionate advocate for Torah education, Shaya was among the founding supporters of Adirei HaTorah, helping establish an organization that has elevated the stature of full-time Torah scholars while creating meaningful, sustainable support for individuals dedicated to lifelong Torah learning.

His commitment to Jewish education extends internationally. Shaya helped establish Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel Chaim in Jerusalem, which today serves more than 1,200 full-time students. He has also contributed millions of dollars to leading Torah institutions, believing that investing in education is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen individuals, families, communities, and future generations.

In addition to his philanthropic work, Shaya serves on the boards of the Lutzk Community Shul in Lakewood, New Jersey, and its Jerusalem branch. Through these leadership roles, he helps guide initiatives that promote Torah learning, strengthen community engagement, and foster spiritual growth.
